Описание
The only problem to be solved in playing the piano is how to go from one note to the next. Going from one note to the next involves all of the intervals from a minor second to the octave, with all of the possible fingerings. This is a basic construct of the book, from the very first note to the last note. That is why we begin with exercises in two-note patterns.

Each exercise prepares for what is to follow, from the simple to the complex, from exercises in patterns of patterns of two, three, four, and five notes, thirds, sixths, and octaves, to thumb under, extensions, and double-notes. These are the basic building blocks of piano technique. The technical problems are introduced gradually, and solved gradually, step by step. The exercises will do the work for you. You cannot fail.

The exercises are easy to learn and memorize and are immediately applicable to the piano repertoire. The book may be combined with the Intermediate, Vol. II book, along with the Advanced and Virtuoso books as part of a coordinated practice regimen. This is a unique and highly effective approach for developing piano technique.

You will soon begin to notice significant improvement. It may come in small increments, but it will be there. It will give you a glimpse of all the possibilities that are out there for you. Undreamed of possibilities.
